| We have 180 comfortable guest rooms, most of them towards the quiet backyard. In the rooms facing towards the street, you might experience some city noise due to our location. 50 of the rooms are brand new, and were opened in January 2008. All are equipped with hairdryer, telephone and television, and all have private bathrooms with showers. We do not have minibars or pay-tv, but refreshments and snacks can be purchased at the front desk. We have 6 free tv-channels, also international. In addition to our standard rooms, we offer rooms for non-smokers, rooms without carpet and family rooms. Wireless Internet is available in the entire hotel. |

| Thon Hotel Astoria is a cosy budget-hotel in downtown Oslo. We are located only 50 metres from the main street Karl Johan, in close proximity to everything the city has to offer from shopping, galleries and museums, to restaurants and nightlife. The hotel is easily accessible with public transportation, and is only a short 5 minute walk from Oslo central station. We do not offer hotel parking, but Paleet garage is only 2 blocks away. Please ask our front desk staff for directions. |
