This distinguished hotel built in the distinctive "Dragon" style more than a century ago crowns Oslo, more than 350 metres above the city centre, offering unique views of the city and the Oslofjord. The oldest part of the hotel dates from 1894, and is an architectural delight, featuring the restaurant "De Fem Stuer", meeting rooms, lounges and banquet rooms. The hotel is surrounded by open spaces and hills, and is situated next to the Holmenkollen Ski Arena. The hotel's surrounding provides excellent opptunities for cycling, skiing or jogging.

Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica has 221 rooms, including 11 suites and an exclusive 35-room wing that can be sealed off from the rest of the hotel if required. All the rooms are of high standard, with minibar, trouser press, hair-drier and pay-TV. Many of the rooms have a distinctive "Holmenkollen" character and the unique view of the city, the Oslo fjord and the surrounding countryside makes for an unmatched tranquillity. Almost half of the rooms are non-smoking and the hotel also has two singles with special facilities for the disabled.

The hotel has a total of 34 seminar and conference facilities furnished with ultramodern technical equipment and translation booths. Capacity: up to 500 people.
